Mexico Folklorico is a dancing group created in 1990, in the Cultural Academy from the 24th Section of the National Syndicate of Workers of Education (S.N.T.E).
the group ins conformed by students from High School, Normal (school of teachers), and university. All of them, cultivate dancing mexican folk art during free time.
Its repertory is composed of dances and songs from several regions of México with the intention to rescue the mexican tradition.
Until now, the group has performed more than 800 exhibitions, traveling through 18 municipalities of the State of Querétaro and has performed in 21 of 32 of the states of the Mexican Republic, these states are: Coahuila, Colima, Chiapas, Chihuahua, Guanajuato, Guerrero, Hidalgo, Jalisco, Edo. de México, Morelos, Nayarit, Nuevo León, Oaxaca, Quintana Roo, San Luis Potosí, Tabasco, Tamaulipas, Tlaxcala, Veracruz, Yucatán, Zacatecas, and the capital city. |
